This is a video that I recorded for the Fuji Love YouTube Chanel.

As you may know, I use Alien Skin Exposure quite a bit on my personal and street photography work.

It’s a really great application and I’m particularly fond of the Kodalith preset.

Over the years, ASE has matured into a standalone RAW editing toolkit.

Of course, you can still use it as a plugin to Lightroom and Photoshop, and for many, this may be the best way of working.  However, it’s now possible to open entire folders (bookmarks) of RAF files directly into the application bypassing the necessity for Lightroom or Photoshop.

In this video, I simply walk through some of the basics of Alien Skin Exposure when using Fujifilm RAW files.

I talk about opening the files, basics of exposure correction and using the Audition tool for comparing film presets.

Ove the coming weeks and months I’ll be adding more to this series about Alien Skin Exposure on both the Fuji Love channel and also on my own YouTube channel.

You can download a free 30 day trial of Alien Skin Exposure X3 now.

And Finally….. Are you a Wedding or Street Photographer?

I’ve spent the last year or so planning the first ever X-Weddings Conference.  It will be in Bath, England on the 12th & 13th of June.

We have a top lineup of speakers and you can learn more by heading over to
